CMTA, an association similar to Calgary Neuropathy Association but specific for people with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) Disease (a hereditary neuropathy),has backed away from their prior list of medications that were thought to be neurotoxic for people with CMT because the medications pose: “those with CMT are at no greater risk of side-effects than general public. They do however offer a well thought out list of medication types and potential effects.
