Jill Chambers, CFDS, CFP, CIM, CEA and founder of The Financial Concierge presented on “Aging in Place”. Aging in place means having the health and social supports and services in place to live safely and independently in your home or your community for as long as you wish and are able.
Jill uses a workbook published by the Government of Canada to discuss a number of topics specifically for senior wishing to stay healthy, safe and active in their homes as long as possible.
In Part 3 of 3 Jill talks interactively with the group about “My Safety” and “My Supports and Services”. The workbook, called: Thinking about your Future? Plan now to age in Place, is a valuable resource for anyone trying to maintain their health and independence.
