We are excited to welcome back Dr. James Truong of the Alberta Health Institute. Dr. James is joining us to share with us the difference is between detox, cleansing and drainage and why is it so important for our body. Also, learn about when these processes are stuck or not working properly how that can affect the rest of the body namely our nervous system. Dr. James spoke to the CNA in May of 2021 on Naturopathic Medicine, you are invited to view his previous talk here.
For those in Calgary be aware, for October’s meeting the speaker will be in person at Northmount Baptist Church (rear hall).

About our guest speaker

Dr. James Truong is a naturopathic doctor in Calgary, AB. He graduated from the University of Calgary in 2005 with a Biological Science degree with a minor in Psychology. He then moved on to the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where he graduated in 2009 and has been practicing since then. Dr. James sat on the Board of the College of Naturopathic Doctors as the Complaints Chair from 2011 – 2015 and currently sits as a member of the Hearing Tribunal. He has helped people with fatigue, pain, hormone imbalances and, of course, neuropathy. He utilizes an assortment of alternative modalities in his treatments to provide the best care to his patients.

FYI, under normal (non-covid) conditions we suggest a minimum $25.00 donation for an annual membership (September to August and is eligible for Canadian tax receipt) or $5.00 for drop-in donation. Compassion pricing is always available upon request.
