Volunteer & Member Potluck Picnic @ North Glenmore Park – Snowy Owl Shelter

The CNA wants to show their appreciation to our volunteers and members*.

So, we thought we’d do it with fried chicken!

Potluck Picnic

Why?

We love our volunteers and have such gratitude for our members – we do it all for you.  Come meet with us in person (Yeah!) to enjoy a summer afternoon/evening with friends, many of whom are like family.  And… we haven’t see you in SOOO long. Plus, we have a few new faces we’d like to meet.

When?

Monday, August 7th from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm.  Picnic will be start between 4:00 & 5:00 – when the chicken arrives!

What to Bring?

We will have some chairs, but please bring your own chair if this would be more comfortable for you.

Please email Linda at Ev****@Ca***************.com to bring:

• an appetizer,
• salad,
• veggie dish or
• dessert.

If you have them please bring reusable plates, cutlery & cups… However we will have paper plates, cups, cutlery & napkins for anyone who needs.

The CNA is supplying:

• Fried Chicken from Chicken on the Way (Whoa, Flashback!!),
• lemonade, ice tea, water,
• Ice in a cooler for storing salads,
• Games, and,
• An Aspiring therapy dog named: Vinnie Van Go

Where?

North Glenmore Park, 7305 Crowchild Trail S.W. at the Snowy Owl Shelter

The site is a short flat walk from 2 parking lots, labelled L and P . It is close to a washroom.
The Snowy Owl Site is well labelled and easy to find.

*Reminder: a member is a person who has either: made a $25.00 donation and attended at least one meeting OR requested to be a member and attended at least one meeting.
