Description – Unusual Causes:
Most people who experience neuropathy symptoms and start on a journey of diagnosis are not aware, at least initially, of all of the possible causes of neuropathy. With the help of good medical professionals, they become aware of such possibilities as diabetes, vitamin deficiencies, toxins such as chemotherapeutic agents, autoimmunities, and even sometimes mechanical or genetic possibilities.
But within each of these are some realms are causes that are well known, and others that are not–and the latter are also not always appreciable even by doctors, leading more people to be given the dreaded ‘idiopathic’ label than probably should be.

Glenn Ribotsky, Secretary and Board of Directors member of WNA, and himself someone with a rather unusual diagnosis, will present in his upcoming webinar a number of unusual causes of neuropathy, how they relate to some of the better-known causes, and materials and approaches patients can use to get their practitioners to consider some of these when testing for the ‘usual suspects’ doesn’t reveal a likely cause, as some of these unusual etiologies are treatable.
